We do not sell your data
Mazzad does not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason. We are a marketplace, not a data business — the information you give us is used to run the site and to connect you with other buyers and sellers, and nothing else.
What we collect
When you register, we collect your name, email address, password, and mobile phone number. As you use Mazzad, we store the listings, bids, questions, ratings, favorites, and reports you create, so the marketplace can function.
Your phone number
Your phone number is stored encrypted and is never shown publicly. It is only revealed — in full — to the specific buyer and seller involved once a sale is completed, so they can arrange pickup or delivery. Otherwise it stays private.
Your password
Your password is stored using secure, one-way hashing — we cannot see or recover your actual password, and neither can anyone who might gain access to our database.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate your account, show your listings and bids, send you notifications about your activity (like being outbid or receiving a question), match you with relevant saved searches, and review reports for moderation. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to advertisers.
Who we share it with
We share your name with other users next to your listings, bids, questions, and ratings, since that's how a marketplace works. We share your phone number only with the confirmed counterparty of a completed sale, as described above. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not share your data with third-party advertisers or analytics companies.
Cookies
Mazzad uses a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can update your saved searches and favorites, or stop using the service, at any time. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continuing to use Mazzad after a change means you accept the updated policy.
