Mazzad is a marketplace, not a party to your sale
Mazzad connects buyers and sellers in Iraq so they can list, bid on, and buy items from each other. When you buy or sell through Mazzad, the contract for that sale is between you and the other user — Mazzad is only the middleman that hosts the listing and the bidding. We are not the seller, the buyer, a delivery service, or an inspector, and we are not a party to any transaction that results from using the site.
We are not responsible for delivery, quality, or the item itself
Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for delivering the item as described. Buyers are responsible for reviewing a listing carefully and, where possible, inspecting an item before completing a sale. Mazzad does not inspect, certify, warehouse, or ship any item, and we make no guarantee about an item's condition, authenticity, legality, or whether a sale will actually be completed by either party. Any dispute about quality, delivery, or payment is between the buyer and the seller.
Bidding is a commitment
Placing a bid is a commitment to buy the item at that price if you are the highest bidder when the auction ends. Do not bid on an item you are not prepared to pay for and collect. Sellers are expected to honor a completed sale to the winning bidder. Repeatedly failing to honor bids or completed sales may lead to your account being suspended.
Your account
You must provide accurate registration details, including a working mobile number, and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. One account per person — do not create multiple accounts to get around a suspension or to manipulate bidding on your own listings.
Prohibited conduct
You may not list illegal, stolen, or counterfeit items; post false or misleading listings; manipulate bids (including bidding on your own listing); harass other users; or attempt to circumvent Mazzad's moderation, reporting, or account restrictions. We may remove listings and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, using the reporting and moderation tools built into the platform.
Fees
Mazzad does not currently charge fees to list, bid, or sell. If that changes in the future, any fees will be clearly disclosed before they apply to you.
Disputes and reporting
If something goes wrong with a specific buyer or seller, try to resolve it directly with them first. You can report a listing or a user from within the app, and our moderators will review it. We may act on a report — including removing a listing or banning an account — but we are not obligated to mediate, refund, or resolve a transaction dispute between users.
No warranty, limitation of liability
Mazzad is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mazzad is not liable for any loss arising from a transaction between users, an item's condition or delivery, or the conduct of any user on or off the platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use Mazzad after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Iraq.
